The Haelthcare topic...Again

http://www.statesman.com/opinion/lets-find-cure-for-gop-ill-will-432316.html

This editorial was found in the Austin American Statesman and it was written by the Editorial Board. The Editorial talks about how Governor Perry and Attorney General Greg Abbott are planning to sue the federal government for trying to pass the health care reform in Texas. The argument that is being made is the fact that the health care reform has the republicans taking unnecessary actions to try and stop it from being passed. The editorial states that "Americans need republicans and their best ideas to work with Democrats to generate solutions that move the country forward."

This argument is backed up with many statics. The editorial explains how Texas is the number one state in the country that has the most uninsured amount of citizens. It also notes that Lloyd Dogget was the only Democrat representative from Travis County that voted for the health care reform. There is even a quote from the President addressing the importance of him signing the health care reform. These are all great sources that the editorial used to back its argument that the Republicans are taking this too far and that this is good for the country and most of all the state of Texas. I would definitely agree with the editorial's argument here and I hope that Governor Rick Perry and Attorney General Abbott see that this will be a good thing and help Texas get off of our high horse and work with the Federal Government.
