Due to the US economy not being at it's best, immigrants in Texas are now going back to Mexico. It's shocking to me but at the same time it makes sense. They cam over to get better jobs and make more money however many people are getting laid off causing the immigrants to go back to Mexico. Even though they are paid less they don't find it necessary to stay here. On top of that, Mexicans are not even willing to come here in the first place.
What makes this even more interesting is that if more immigrants start to leave Texas and none are willing to come over to Texas, then Texas will slowly become not a diverse state. Which brings the question, Will Texas ever become a democratic state? With Hispanics being majority democrat, and most of them are going back to Mexico, then that may lead to a slower process of the democrats becoming dominant in Texas again.
It's also interesting to those that don't want immigrants in our country, it seems that they are getting their way but with a cost, the economy being terrible.
